Ann Keen MP Joins Genworth Volunteers for "The World's Biggest Coffee Morning"

London, (September 28, 2007)- Volunteers at Genworth Financial were joined today by local constituency MP Ann Keen to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support's World's Biggest Coffee Morning.

The volunteers from Genworth's International Headquarters, together with employees from other local businesses were aiming to raise a significant sum through a cake and coffee sale at Chiswick Park.

Commenting on the event, recently appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary for Health Services Ann Keen MP said: "I'm delighted to be able to join in the fun. It is amazing that simply enjoying a cup of coffee and catching up with friends in the constituency can make a difference to people affected by cancer".

"I would like to say a huge thank you to our volunteers and to Ann", said Bob Brannock, president of Genworth Financial's operations in Europe and Canada, "The funds raised today will go towards providing practical medical, emotional and financial support to people living with cancer."

The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is one of the biggest annual fundraising events in the UK, with an estimated 2 million people raising their mugs for Macmillan last year.
