About Our Ambassador

Ross Fisher, one of the European Tour's rising stars, has been unveiled as Genworth Financial's latest brand ambassador at the 2008 BMW PGA Championship. Ross joins an elite set of sports personalities who have also undertaken this role, namely tennis superstars Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf and ladies professional golfer Juli Inkster.

Ross will undertake a number of Ambassador duties for Genworth including support for the 'Putts for Charity' initiative during the European Tour schedule, making personal appearances, wearing Genworth branded clothing and providing golf tips for visitors to the Genworth website.

The BMW PGA Championship provides a fitting backdrop to announce Ross' new role with Genworth as he is based at the Wentworth Club, his first and only club. Ross exemplifies everything in Genworth's 'Think it Possible' culture. He is a golfer clearly focused on achievement, performing at the highest level and with a desire to be a leader in his field.
