Simon Bartle is Vice President, Human Resources for the European and Canadian Operations of Genworth Financial's International business. He is responsible for all human resources functions including client management, staffing, compensation and benefits, talent development and organisational effectiveness.

Prior to his current role, Simon was Vice President, Organisation & Staffing for Genworth's headquarter operations in Richmond, VA, where he facilitated the design of the company's values and employment value proposition and partnered with leadership to redesign the company to drive core growth and achieve strategic objectives.

In his 10-year Genworth career, Simon has held various roles in HR and Quality at the company's headquarters and in its Long Term Care operations. Prior to joining Genworth, Simon worked as a consultant and forest fire fighter in Canada.

Simon has a PhD in Industrial/Organizational psychology from Old Dominion University and is a published author in the areas of organisational effectiveness and psychology. Born and raised in Canada, he is now based in London, UK.
