Bob Brannock is President of European operations for Genworth Financial’s International segment. He is focused on strengthening the business outside the US to enable further growth, efficiency and improving returns.
Prior to this role, Bob was President and CEO of the company’s Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) business, driving growth of PPI across more than eighteen countries worldwide.

In 1993, Bob joined Genworth’s former parent company, GE, following its acquisition of Irish commercial aircraft sales and leasing company, Guinness Peat Aviation. He took on the role of IT Development Director with GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) for two years before joining GE Insurance Holdings (GEIH) as Chief Information Officer in 1995. In this role, Bob was responsible for establishing Centres of Excellence for operations and systems development in Ireland. Bob was appointed Managing Director, Sales & Marketing for Payment Protection Insurance in October 2002. In July 2005 he became global CEO for the Payment Protection Business extending operations to over twenty countries across the world.

Bob was educated at Greenhills College, Rathmines College of Commerce and Trinity College Dublin. He graduated in 1983 and was accepted for membership of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ACIS) in 1984. He is also a Fellow of the Irish Computer Society (FICS). He is based in London, UK.
